Reclaimed Furniture
We at C.G. Sparks are committed to re-using resources that are available. Our antique collection is the original example of utilizing reclaimed sources, by creating a longer life cycle rather than going to a landfill. Our antiques have gone through restoration in order to give it the utility needed to last several generations, while leaving the history and patina that has come with age in tact.
Our newly handcrafted furniture which is made from reclaimed teak and reclaimed woods is another example of our commitment to utilizing existing resources. The wood that is used in our reclaimed lines, come from old building that have been demolished to bridges that have been retrofitted with stronger steel construction. The true beauty of the reclaimed woods is the history that comes with it. The holes from the nails or bolts used to build the original structure are filled with wood patches to create a patina of history. The scars of the wood’s life are left to create a truly unique new product that will last generations.
